The COVID-19 pandemic required the club to target the domestic market in a way it had not been required to in recent memory. Our Irish golf industry experience meant that the club’s marketing activities could react quickly to proven successful practices, and the club welcomed many Irish golfers for the first time. Moving into the post-pandemic era, the club is now successfully re-establishing itself as a must-visit location for inbound tourists.
mygolfGroup and Synergy Golf created and implemented a bespoke plan for the club, which has improved how it runs a business. This has incorporated all areas of the club, including the following solutions.
mygolfGroup has been working closely with the team at Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aimed at overseas and domestic golfers and improve communication both internal and external.
The Killarney Golf & Fishing Club management committee had a clear mandate to improve the club's performance as a business and enhance the playing experience for both members and visitors.
mygolfGroup was selected to work with Killarney to improve its marketing, and communication, and drive revenue growth. Following a detailed club marketing audit, key areas of improvement were identified and agreed upon with the committee along with a timeline for implementation that met the club's immediate and long-term goals.
In 2020 a new unforeseen challenge arose in the COVID-19 pandemic required the club to change focus and adapt quickly to a new challenging market.
